Basma Alsuliman
Woven | 260
A warm, layered space where art, texture, and craftsmanship come together.

Alula, Saudi Arabia
Twenty rooms. Twenty Saudi artists. A boutique hotel where every room is a work of art.
We asked twenty artists a single question: What does it mean to live inside your work? Their answers became the walls, the light, the silence, and the view.
At Lohha, art is not hung on a wall and walked past. It surrounds you while you sleep, greets you when you wake, and becomes part of your stay.
A QR in every room
Scan it and let your room tell its story: who the artist is, what they have created before, and how this space came to be.
Two rooms from the collection. Each one is a complete world, designed to be lived in.

Dana Awartani
A room covered in patterns inspired by traditional Saudi garments and the historic Al-Qatt Al-Asiri art form.
Eighteen more rooms, each with its own artist and its own story.
Fourteen more artists complete the collective.
Upcoming events
Beyond the rooms, we host small gatherings inspired by the crafts, sounds, and stories of the region.

Create your own henna design.

Music after dark
Experience the traditional sounds of the simsimiyya through live music.

Ink and intention

Gallery
A rotating collection, borrowed and lent, hung between arrivals.

Mural
Throughout the year, different artists are invited to re-paint the mural, bringing new stories, ideas and perspectives into the house. Guests can see the work as it takes shape during their stay.

The first season is limited to twenty rooms. Leave your email and we’ll share availability, artist talks, and quiet openings.
